Julie was a close family friend who passed before the trip started. I dedicated the brutal hill into Osoyoos to her memory not because of its difficulty rather because of the breathtaking view of the Osoyoos valley you get on the other side where the Patzwald’s, Glen’s, Waroway’s and Peacock’s spent some wonderful summers.
