Day 57 – Big Cedar Lake – Rest Day

Sunday July 29th

Today was definitely a sleep in day since the plan was t sit in the sun by the lake. For those following I apologize for being so behind. When I have a rest day with friends I usually don’t blog since I am spending time with them even if it is drinking beer on a hot day under the sizzling sun. From about 11 onward we were have team Canada coronos and jumping in the lake when Craig I got to hot. I only sustained one weaval attack and we caught some small fish off the dock but no big mouthed bass. It was funny actually I saw craig disappear into the boat house for what I figured was more bear but he had live bait. Always be prepared they say!

Later in the day Craig, Carol and I went on a cruise around the lake and met up with the Hart’s who were in the middle of the lake swimming. We tied the boats together, drank more coronas and swam some more. Diner was at the Hart’s but not before Tom Hart’s came by in their boat and we made a little visit to some friends of Craig’s. At the stop I asked where I could pee and I was pointed to the trees near the lake – I love the matter of factness of living up in the woods a bit.

Still later we had another fantastics feast at Tom’ s which eventually put me to sleep. Eventually it ws time to go and we got in the boat to head home. We did managed to drive over something unmarked in the water (most shallow parts are marked) but we made it home okay. What another beautiful day in Canada!
